lots of people have been asking me questions lately about the song writing process between myself and dan. our style is becoming more and more collaborative; when we first started writing, we would both bring relatively whole ideas and flesh them out, whereas now it seems more like one of us will have a rough idea of something and we work on it from the ground up. it;s way more fun that way.

how was everyone’s christmas? i have to say that this was the happiest christmas of my life so far. i was spoiled with amazing company, thoughtful gifts, and more delicious food than i ever should have consumed. this was the first christmas where i spent the evening with friends at my own home, having done the family thing earlier. dan cooked an amazing feast and we drank wine and laughed...
